Maryborough Community House Inc. (MCH) will provide a welcoming venue for members of the community to meet in the priority order of:
- Maryborough Community House Programs and activities
- Community Organisations or Individuals that align themselves with the aims and objectives of MCH.
- Any other group or individual.
Venue Hire (Check for availability)
- Kitchen
- Meeting room (seats between 8 to 10 people)
- Interview room
- Multipurpose room
Full day and half day are defined by
- Full day = up to six hours (9.00am to 3.00pm)
- Half day = up to 3 hours (9.00am to 12.00pm or 12.00pm to 3.00pm)
- Evening room hire as per 3 or 6 hours or part thereof
- Full day is charged if room is required for longer than 3 hours.
Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of $100 to be paid at time of booking for the purpose of clean up or recovery of lost or damaged goods.
- The Coordinator may use his/her discretion to negotiate deposit charge if group or individual request waiver or in the event the organization hiring the room has a long association with MCH. If deposit has been waivered for any such circumstances and in the event of damage to MCH it is understood by both parties all damage will be repaired and paid for by the organization hiring the room at time of damage.
Fees:
- Fees and security deposit to be paid within 7 days of booking.
- Where room has been booked as an ongoing booking, group or individual will be expected to pay one month in advance to secure the room and allow for MCH forward planning.
Refunds:
- No refund will be given for cancellation of room use if the group or individual has only given 24 hours’ notice.
Fees can be negotiated with the Coordinator if the function is to benefit community needs and meets the aims and objectives of MCH.
Otherwise set rates apply:
- All Businesses/ Organisations /Associations
- Full day hire of $90 per day.
- Half day hire of $45 per half day.
- All Individual’s
- Full day hire of $45 per day.
- Half day hire of $25 per half day.
- If the group or individual are in line with the aims of MCH, then the coordinator may use his/her discretion to negotiate a fee or suitable exchange.

*Any ongoing room hire must include a Memorandum of Understanding between both parties
